01
What this policy covers
Privacy without unnecessary complexity.
- This policy explains how outbid.dubai handles information connected with visiting the website, viewing the public leaderboard, submitting a listing, and using features we may introduce later.
- Public listing details, payment-order status, basic visitor counts, and support messages may be stored in the platform database. Unpaid submissions are not treated as completed purchases.
- We aim to collect only information reasonably needed to provide requested functionality, protect the platform, handle legitimate enquiries, and meet obligations that actually apply.
02
Information connected to the service
What you submit and what infrastructure may observe.
- Listing information: a website or public profile URL, selected category, proposed listing amount, and any public business name, description, image, or profile information you choose to provide.
- Public ranking details: a listing’s displayed position, category, destination, amount, and visible activity information where those features are operating.
- Technical request information: hosting or infrastructure providers may process standard connection information such as an IP address, browser type, request timing, or security events when serving the website.
- Messages and requests: if you contact us through a contact method we later publish, we may keep the information you send for as long as reasonably necessary to respond.
- Please do not submit confidential business records, payment-card details, identity documents, private customer information, or another person’s sensitive personal information through a listing field.
03
Browser storage and preferences
Simple settings, stored on your device.
- Your language and light or dark appearance preference may be saved using your browser’s local storage so the site can remember your selected settings.
- A randomly generated visitor-session identifier may be stored in browser session storage and recorded in our database to count visits and current activity without requesting your name or payment information.
- At the time of this policy, the website does not intentionally set an advertising cookie, identify a specific analytics vendor, or claim to operate the visitor-identification cookie used by another service.
- If analytics, account cookies, consent tools, or other tracking technologies are introduced later, this policy and any relevant notices should be updated before or when those features become active.
04
Why information may be used
Specific purposes, not hidden profiles.
- To display a requested listing, organize category and overall rankings, preserve a theme preference, and make the website function properly.
- To investigate misuse, suspicious activity, impersonation, security incidents, rights complaints, and clearly misleading submissions.
- To respond to support, listing-correction, takedown, privacy, or legal requests made through an official contact channel.
- To satisfy recordkeeping, accounting, security, or other requirements if and when they actually apply to an active commercial service.
- We do not present unimplemented advertising profiles, behavioral targeting, or third-party data sales as part of the current service.
05
Public listings and external websites
Public means visible to other people.
- Submitted business names, public destinations, categories, visible amounts, rankings, and activity metadata are stored in the platform database and may be visible to other visitors.
- Submit only information you are authorized to publish. A public business URL or professional profile can reveal information already made available by its owner.
- Clicking an external business website or profile takes you to a third-party service. Its own privacy practices and terms apply after you leave outbid.dubai.
- We may use publicly available brand identifiers only as needed to identify a listing; their appearance should not be read as an endorsement or ownership claim.
06
Payments and service providers
Payment details are handled by the checkout provider.
- Payments are processed by Paddle, which may receive checkout, billing, fraud-prevention, tax, and transaction information under its own privacy terms.
- We receive transaction identifiers, payment status, safe display amounts, submitted URL, selected category, and placement data needed to fulfil and support the purchase.
- Full payment-card credentials are handled by Paddle and are not entered into or stored by our ordinary public listing fields.
- Hosting, database, security, communications, and payment providers may process limited information when necessary to deliver their respective services.
07
Access, correction and removal
Your information deserves care.
- Depending on applicable law and the information actually held, you may request access to, correction of, deletion of, or restrictions on certain personal information.
- Where processing relies on consent, you may be able to withdraw that consent. Requests may need reasonable identity or authorization checks before action is taken.
- We will assess privacy or listing-removal requests according to the applicable circumstances, legitimate security needs, and any mandatory legal requirements.
- Privacy, listing-removal, and support requests can be submitted through our published Contact page.
08
Retention, security and updates
Kept only when there is a reason.
- We intend to keep information only for as long as needed for the relevant service, support, security, dispute, or legally required recordkeeping purpose.
- Reasonable organizational and technical safeguards should be used for systems that process customer information. No internet service can honestly promise absolute security.
- The platform is intended for adults and authorized business representatives. We do not intentionally invite children to submit personal information.
- This policy may change as the product, infrastructure, payment features, and applicable requirements develop. The published version should reflect the actual service rather than a copied provider’s configuration.
